TONI&GUY AND ESSENSUALS SALONS JOIN FORCES WITH MACMILLAN TO HELP PEOPLE WITH CANCER
People affected by cancer can now receive specialist hair care advice under a new partnership launched by TONI&GUY with Macmillan Cancer Support.
Strength in Style, which is now available at Essensuals Bath has been launched to offer men, women and children affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care.
Strength in Style Consultants have undergone intensive training covering everything a stylist needs to know from the emotional and practical issues surrounding the sensitive nature of hair loss, the effects of cancer treatment on hair, and wig styling and cutting.
Sally Hill, Partnership Manager, Macmillan Cancer Support, says: "Hair loss can have a really devastating impact on people going through cancer treatment and the relationship between a person and their hairdresser is extremely personal. This is why we are very excited about our new partnership with TONI&GUY. Strength in Style will help us improve the lives of people affected by cancer by giving them the strength and confidence to have more good days."
Essensuals staff will also be fundraising throughout the year to raise money to help Macmillan reach and improve the lives of even more people affected by cancer.
